Kashié was born from a shared love for fashion, Indian textiles, and the idea of creating something that felt truly our own. The idea of Kashié began with a simple question: What happens when the richness of Indian textiles meets a more contemporary approach to design?
We have always been drawn to the character of Indian fabrics, their textures, colours, craftsmanship, and the stories they carry. But we wanted to explore them in a way that felt natural to us. Through silhouettes that are modern, versatile, and designed for the way women dress today.
Before beginning our first collection, we wanted to understand our materials beyond their appearance. This led us to Varanasi, a city deeply connected to India's silk heritage. We travelled there to learn more about silk, explore how it is produced, and develop a closer relationship with the fabric we wanted to work with.

Being there gave us a different perspective. It reminded us that every fabric has its own character, and that understanding where it comes from can shape the way we design with it. The experience became an important part of our early journey and influenced how we approached our first collection.
For us, creating Kashié is about bringing together two perspectives and allowing our shared curiosity to guide the process. It is about exploring Indian textiles while giving them room to exist in modern form. Pieces that can become part of a woman's wardrobe, be styled in her own way, and live beyond a single occasion.
Our first collection is the beginning of that exploration. It reflects our love for fashion, our appreciation for textiles, and the belief that beautiful design can feel both rooted and relevant.
There is still so much for us to discover, learn, and create. And this is where we begin.
Welcome to Kashié.
